1919 saw the beginning of a small artisan workshop manufacturing chairs, founded by Domenico Potocco and his Sons. Today Potocco S.p.A. is one of the most important chairs-producers in Italy and abroad. Its technological plants grant large quantities and very high quality products. By long tradition, the labour is highly skilled as well as the Sales Department, normally working with both Italian and foreign markets.
Today Potocco boasts a remarkable position in the field of chairs manufactures.
Projects, Production and Sale obey Industry rules. Functionality, excellent design and reasonable prices allow Potocco to win a large section in the market.
Walking around the factory with a camera, you feel impressed by the huge quantities of semi-finished products, carefully stacked up, moving through the entire production process.
Potocco has gained in the last 20 years the capability to solve every specific problem the customer might meet.
...PHILOSOPHY OF VALUES
Potocco, thanks to its experience and to flexibility, has developed a quality concept not limited to the product only, but includes also design, methodologies, sales network and customers' feedback. All these factors have enabled the company to increase and improve its growth. Today, facing the economy globalization, at Potocco we are convinced that we must offer exactly what the customer requires, that is basically a product perfect in every detail. This philosophy is deep-rooted in Potocco's mentality. And this is why our best business card is the quality of our products.
In the years chairs have assumed personal and social very defined specializations. The chair has been "socialized" and defined with specific parameters. At the same time though the research evaluates whichever invention. There is no architect who never tried to solve "the problem of being sat". This cultural and instinctive requirement has always been carefully studied by Potocco. We can say that the Technical Studies Potocco is daily involved with, have generated a catalogue aimed at satisfying an international selection of models adaptable for several uses. Moreover an artistic direction evaluates all models before they are put in production, by considering all ergonomic, aesthetic and functional features.
