ADO is the world’s largest producer of interior clothes. In 1954, the enterprise was founded by Hubert Wulf and its name comes from the place of establishment Aschendorf, right over the Dutch border in northern Germany. The headquarters still remain there and the factory occupies more than 120.000 square metre.
The production is concentrated in a few places in the world: Europe is supplied from Germany, Indonesia provides Asia, the USA monitors America. ADO is also active in Australia and South Africa. However the product is decentralized because each country has its own specific culture. Great Britain is also an important country as it is very trend-sensitive.
