Daniele Bedini is a product designer and architect and founder of the design company IS In and Out Space. As an architect he specialises in interior design and space research and design. Recent projects include space hotels, planetary habitats and space habitability.
Biography
Daniele Bedini was the first European graduate to write a thesis on ‘Space Architecture’ (University of Florence, 1983) in collaboration with NASA. As president of IS In and Out Space he runs space and industrial design projects with Alessandro Giacomelli and works on the planning, design and restoration of buildings with his eldest son Edgar.
Daniele Bedini teaches in some of the most prestigious universities worldwide including the Royal College of Art (London), International Space University (Strasbourg) and Istituto Europeo di Design (Rome).
IS has contracts with Thales Alenia Space, European Space Agency (ESA) and Italian Space Agency (ASI).
