Architect of the Ricardo Palma University graduated in 1984. He studied most of his career in the Workshop of Arq. Baracco winning with this workshop the Architecture Biennial of Peru - category of Undergraduate Workshops being then invited to teach in the same workshop. In 1983 he founds Gómez de la Torre & Guerrero Architects, which he directs together with Arq. María del Carmen Guerrero, in 1997 they are selected to integrate the Yearbook of Peruvian Architecture. In 1999, he carried out a Master's degree in National Development and graduated with Honors. The studio has been nominated in all Architectural Quality competitions held in the country. In 2005 they are representatives of Peru in the Pan-American Biennial of Quito. He has been a professor at the Ricardo Palma University in Lima, Peru, San Martin de Porres University and currently at the University of Applied Sciences of Peru, conducting architectural design workshops. In the year 2006 co-found "Idesima", a Non-Governmental Organization for the development of the Andean Peoples and elaboration of sustainable development projects in villages far from the mountainous areas of the country In 2005 integrates Planistur association dedicated to the putting value on towns with architectural value, in 2007 he was summoned to exhibit at the first urban collective exhibition carried out together with a selection of representative architects of the country, and he has been invited to exhibit in all the collective exhibitions of beach houses made in the Asian spa from 2002 to 2011. The Architectural Works of his studio have been widely published, nationally and internationally in print, television and on the web In 2009 he is awarded along with his partner the Arqta Maica Guerrero in the Miami Biennial 2009 with the Gold Medal in the category of Single Family Housing for the Spa House on the beach Gaviotas de Cañete, Peru and with the bronce medal in the Category of multy family housing with the La Molina Condominium. In 2010, he was invited to participate in the tutorial course of the OAS as Professor. In the same year he obtained 1st honorable mention in the category Urbanism and Territorial Design in the XV Biennial of Peruvian Architecture as author of the NEW UNIVERSITY CITY - UCSUR. In 2014, he was awarded the "Orden del Sol" medal in recognition of his National and International career, by the College of Architects of Peru. In 2017 he obtained, with the Casa del Chef, Double Gold Medal as representative of the South American Region in the IX CIDI Iberoamerican Biennial of Interior Design, Design & Landscaping 2017 - 2018.
