With over seventy years of experience in wood working ISAM creates unique and customized wood windows, and wood covered with metals or glass windows, as well as automated and technologically advanced doors and windows systems to make the visions and the most complex projects of architects and designers come to life. Founded in the early ‘40s by Giovanni Mariolini as a small wood workshop today ISAM is still owned and led by its founding family and has established itself as a global player in the sector. ISAM strives to interpret the modern designs and contemporary style partnering up with worldwide recognized designers such as Ferruccio Laviani and Alessandro Gedda, to name but a few, while keeping a constant attention towards quality of materials (such as highly selected natural lamellar wood as well aluminum, bronze, copper and glass clad wood)) and excellence in manufacturing still entirely based in Italy. At ISAM respect for the environment forms the core of the company's culture, with collections of window frames, doors and blinds suitable for building with low energy consumption and passive-to-zero emissions residences and buildings. Quality is maintained to the highest standards through every phase of the production and installation and both processes are certified to the international standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. In 1993 “Spazio & Forma”, the home and furniture branch of the company, is created as an expression of ISAM’s unique philosophy and creativity in interior designing.
