He was born in Madrid, he grew up in Pamplona, and nowadays he lives in Vitoria where he develops his work as an architect around Álava, Vizcaya, Navarra y La Rioja.
Javier Lafita has been an architect since 2009 by the University of Architecture of Navarre (ETSAUN), specialized in Landscaping and Environment, his office opened in Vitoria in 2011.
He collaborated for four years at the University of Architecture of Navarre, two in the Department of Projects and two in the Department of Structures.
Along his career he has received several prizes and awards: First Prize in the “Competition to improve the connection of San Cristobal Mountain and the city of Pamplona”. Second Prize in the“Competition for the creation of a riverside park along the River Aragón in Milagro (Navarre)”. He worked in the “Drawing of the facades of the Historic Center of Pamplona” in collaboration with the council of the city. He designed the corporate image of the exhibition “New Urban Center in Zaramaga”.
He combines his professional work as an architect with the graphic design, mainly in the field of architectural visualization. Nowadays, he collaborates with several international companies, by doing architectural services for websites, including interactive 360 ° panoramas.
