Katerina Alatzia was born in Cologne, Germany (1980). Graduated as Dipl.-Ing. in Architecture in RWTH Aachen, Germany (2007). After graduating Katerina moved to Mexico City and worked as cofounder in the architectural office MANADA. In 2008 she also cofounded LAINVENCIBLE.ORG, a factory specialized in carpentry and woodwork. As a result of the focus on interior and furniture design and production, Katerina has worked in various fields ranging from furniture and kitchens to interiors and housing projects as well as major retail refurbishments.
In recent years, several of her products have received international design awards such as the "Interior Innovation Award", not to mention nominations for the "German Design Award" and the prestigious "Red Dot Award". Furthermore, she obtained national prizes for Interior design including both "Prisma" and "Amdi" while being awarded second place at the "Bienal Nacional de Arquitectura Mexicana".
