LINT landscape architecture
LINT landscape architecture
LINT is a cooperation between the landscape architects Alexander Herrebout and Gerwin de Vries. LINT functions as a landscape laboratory and makes designs which mostly concern relevant issues like urbanisation, climate change and the energy transition. The work of LINT ranges from small scale interventions to plans on a larger scale. LINT searches for relevant, seductive and precise landscape interventions.
In 2007 Alexander Herrebout and Gerwin de Vries won the International Archiprix with their project Dredge Landscape Park and got a nomination for the National Archiprix. In 2009 they won the second prize in the competition Droom NH with the plan Groot Noordhollandsch Kanaal. Both worked for different offices (ao OKRA, Hosper, Rietveld Landscape and Bosch&Slabbers) and in 2008 and 2010 they received a starter stipend from Fonds BKVB (the Netherlands Foundation for Visual Arts, Design and Architecture).
