Donn Logan and Marcy Wong formed the Berkeley, California firm in 1999. Over two decades, the partnership developed a portfolio of work that reflects their objectives of architectural and environmental design excellence. The firm’s interests include built-environment issues encompassing architectural expression, technological innovation, cultural manifestation, adaptive reuse, urbanism and planning. Marcy Wong Donn Logan Architects is devoted to producing architecture rooted in its time as well as its place, taking advantage of contemporary advances in materials and techniques to execute buildings that are forward‐thinking while remaining sensitive to their context. The partners of the firm, Wong and Logan, along with principals Kent Royle and Tai-Ran Tseng, pursue a design approach that capitalizes each context – physical as well as cultural – as the spark for a unique solution in architecture.
