MORENO FARINA:
The propensity to deepen the questions made it easier for me to manage the most complex aspects of the construction world right from the start; the interest in history is the basis of my particular specialization: monumental restoration.
I graduated in Architecture in 2004 with a design thesis entitled: "Architecture for the historical center: arrangement of the Fonti and new accesses for Ripatransone" obtaining the highest marks; in the same year and until April 2005, I attend the European Master in History of Architecture at the Academy of S. Luca in Rome, Roma Tre University; 2005 is also the year in which I win the PhD Competition in the "Knowledge and project of the forms of settlement", completing it in 2008 with the awarding of the title. Meanwhile, I alternate the activity of intern (and then collaborator) at the Regional Directorate of the Superintendence of BAP Marche with participation in conferences as a speaker and as a tutor at the Faculty of Architecture of Ascoli Piceno; in 2011 I obtain, from the same Faculty, the title of "Expert of the Matter in History of Architecture and Restoration". In the meantime, I have been working as a freelancer since 2004 after passing the qualifying exam and, in 2005, I also obtained the certificate of qualification for site safety coordinator. Strengthened by individual specializations, over the years I have accumulated varied and in-depth experience in the field, in the area of work management, safety coordination, architectural design in general and monumental restoration, in public and private works. At the same time, I dedicate part of my time to being a member of building committees of various municipalities. Some of my studies and restoration works have been published in books and magazines.
TERESA DI LORENZO:
Architectural design is my great passion, my favorite sector is that of interior design; I have an eye for photography and a marked ability to use shapes and colors. In an attempt to express myself at my best, I always try to keep up with the times regarding technology.
The aptitude for drawing and the interest in the characterization of living environments have always accompanied me in such a strong way that I graduated in 2007with honors in Architecture with a Design Thesis entitled: "The wine cities of Abruzzo. Project for a private cellar between Controguerra and Colonnella "; in the same year, driven by the desire to immediately enter the world of construction work, in the first useful session I obtained the qualification to practice the profession and I began to operate on several fronts: the continuous collaboration with a quality engineering firm of architectural designer, the Office of Technical Consultant and Custos at the Office of Real Estate Executions of the Court of Teramo, voluntary participation in the inspections following the 2009 L'Aquila earthquake, the drafting of descriptions related to many damaged buildings located in crater sites are among the most prominent ones. In 2012, thanks to the experience gained, I began to take on positions in the field of public works: in that year I was co-designer and co-director of works in the renovation of a school building and in the restoration of a restricted Church; in the summer of 2015 I directed the work of securing another school building, for which I will also soon advise on restyling the interiors.
Since 2015 we operate as associated under the name of Moreno Farina Studio.
