ONE Change, Office for Natural Emergencies
We live daily with winds, torrential rain and even small floods. However when
these phenomena is beyond the limits of normal, arises what is known as natural
disasters. The idea of disaster is closely related to the immeasurable material
losses and, even worse, irretrievable lives. The poor design of cities, lack of
security measures and inadequacy of
planning in emergency plans, generally contribute to amplify the problem.
ONE CHANGE arose as an answer to the question: What should be the most appropriate
professional methodology and the overall approach more appropiate, in response
both to prevention and reconstruction of the cities affected?
