Founded in 2014 in Los Angeles by five SCI-Arc Masters of Architecture graduates, Pentagon is an architectural design studio committed to exploring the relationship between people, buildings, and the environments they inhabit.
A focus on new, speculative approaches to building design, pragmatic inquiry into context and location, and experience in a range of design-forward U.S. architecture studios (Gehry Partners, Michael Maltzan Architecture, Leong Leong) guides the practice. Completed projects include residential (Venice, Malibu), commercial interiors (Los Angeles, Park City), retail (Oakland, Humboldt) and art installations (Los Angeles, Bombay Beach Biennale).
