We will provide you with much more than just the drawings for your building project. You will be in control of creating a personal solution for your scheme. We have the experience to see your project through to completion, overseeing the design, the planning and building regulations approvals, the builders and your budget.
We will firstly help you to define your objectives for the project, identify the risks involved and interpret your ideas imaginatively and expertly. We are able to manage the construction phase by helping you to select suitable contractors, obtaining competitive tenders for construction, and monitoring site progress. We can also advise on the requirement and input of other design specialists such as structural engineers and organise their appointment and co-ordinate their input to your project.
Architectural Design
This is the core to our practice, we aim to produce beautifully designed, environmentally responsible, sustainable buildings that respond to our clients' design criteria. This is achieved by creating a clear vision in response to the client's brief and by implementing it to the minutest detail.
Environmental Design
This is an increasingly important aspect of building design with an increasing number of options to save energy and address the sustainable criteria which is now required by the statutory authorities. P&P is sensitive to the environment and feels a duty to design responsibly towards the goal of a sustainable society.
Feasibility Studies and Concept Designs
We will undertake an investigation into the opportunities of a site when the project requires it. This is usually undertaken when the project is larger or more complex or there are a number of varying options which need to be researched to find the best value solution. The size and methodologies of the feasibility report depends on the scale and type of project.
