Julien Dailly and Georgios Maillis, two graduates from La Cambre School of Visual Arts, decided to found their architectural firm RESERVOIR A in 2007.
Georgios Maillis gained experience in world-renowned architectural firms (Zaha Hadid Architects, Foster & Partners, Elia Zenghelis Architects, Brisac Gonzalez and Aris Zambicos). He developed projects on various scales, large (tower blocks) and small (furniture).
Julien Dailly has worked for a number of large Belgian and French architectural firms like Daniel Dethier in Liege and Lille-based ZigZag-Architecture, as well as the artist studios of Jean Glibert and Ann-Veronika Janssens. These diverse experiences have given him a thorough understanding of graphic and conceptual design in addition to excellent technical skills.
RESERVOIR A chose its location in the province of Hainaut and more specifically in the city of Charleroi in the aim of positioning itself as an architectural and urban design firm for large-scale projects linked to the development of the region. The founders hope to work on architectural projects relating primarily to public calls for tender. Private homes are outside their scope of activity.
