Robie J. Wood, AIA is a registered architect, NCARB certified, and member of the American Institute of Architects. Mr. Wood holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture degree from Yale University.
Prior to founding R.J. Wood Architects, Mr. Wood worked for Robert A.M. Stern Architects in New York, NY. While at Stern, Mr. Wood was a project architect for the Comcast Center in Philadelphia and was lead architect for One Crescent Drive at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. One Crescent Drive was awarded LEED Platinum Status and was recognized by the DEP as the “highest-performing”building in Pennsylvania.
Upon founding RJWA, Mr. Wood was the lead architect for the Eco-Cape project in Garwood, NJ. The Eco-Cape was a qualified Energy Star project and met 95% of the requirements for Platinum certification by the U.S.Green Building Council. The Eco-Cape was featured in Newark Star-Ledger and Cranford (NJ) Chronicle.
Mr. Wood is licensed to practice architecture in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia,and the District of Columbia.
