Rui Grazina designs his architecture, products, furniture from his studio in Porto. His architecture includes new build houses and extensions across northern Portugal.
Since 2002 the Rui Grazina studio has produced a range of furniture and products exhibited at 100% Design, London, Fet á Portugal/FAD, Barcelona, Remade in Portugal and Design+, Lisbon. Jewellery box RG02 won the design competition for the Berardo Modern Art Collection Museum Design Shop, Lisbon.
In November 2010 Rui presented his work at Rio de Janeiro Design Week, Brazil and launched his new product RG05 in December exclusively at Elements Contemporary Jewellery, in Porto . He was selected and will exhibit at the ‘Talents’ section of Ambiente, Frankfurt in February 2011.
Prior to 2000 Rui worked as an architect on a wide range of projects in London and Porto. He completed his education at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Porto. He was born in Maputo, Mozambique.
