Sarah graduated in 2008 from UWE with a first class BA hons in Interdisciplinary Textile Design. Her graduation projects launched her investigation into thinking about everyday objects as tools for story telling.
Relocating to France soon after made her realise the value of artistic communication and offered her a tool for surviving with a foreign culture and language. Propelled by this, Sarah continued her studies with an MA in Design Products at the Royal College of Art graduating in 2011.
Sarah now continues to use the process of communication to navigate her way through objects. She has created a diverse range of projects which invite the audience to experience her different interpretations of space. From a communal food performance to an interactive drawing table or a light made from everyday objects, Sarah’s work encourages interaction and empathy between people and objects.
