Design Philosophy
COMPLYING DESIGN
Adherence to the design brief and user requirements to ensure that the delivered project is fit for purpose and meets or exceeds client expectations.
COST CONTROL
Monitoring of the design development within the nominated budget, including adjustment and refinement of the design as may be required.
PROGRAM CONTROL
Monitoring of the design development within the nominated program, including provision of additional resources as may be required.
VALUE FOR MONEY
Rigorous assessment and testing of design development to ensure maximum cost benefit to the client.
RISK MANAGEMENT
Identification of potential issues and development of appropriate strategies to ensure that risks are minimised and planning is in place to deal with circumstances as they may arise.
HEALTH & SAFETY IN DESIGN
As such we anticipate that specific safety in design workshops will be held at various points throughout the design phases of a project and we have experience in undertaking an active role for these types of workshops.
CHANGE MANAGEMENT
Our process ensures a detailed understanding of the changes required, identification of any impacts associated with the change particularly in terms of quality, time and cost, a subsequent development of strategies to minimise any adverse impacts resulting from the proposed change, and the reporting of such impacts and mitigation options to the client for discussion and approval prior to implementation.
