Established in 2018 by Pratyusha Reddy and Dhatri Dabbara, Studio Dvāra is an experiential design firm based in Hyderabad, India. With a portfolio encompassing a wide array of projects, including residential, commercial and hospitality ventures, our work reflects a deep understanding of the importance of context and environment, and our design is always responsive to the unique needs and challenges of each project.
Borrowing from the same tradition that gives us our name ‘Dvāra’ which means ‘passage’ or a ‘medium’ in Sanskrit, – we seek to achieve a seamless blend of the five elements of nature coming together to create rhythm and balance. We, at Studio Dvāra, believe in creating an experience and not just a space, whilst incorporating our meaningful and thoughtful design. Our objective is to unfold spaces that are responsive to their surroundings which is achieved by adhering to our founding principle – ‘Respond, don’t react’.
