Pankaj Mhatre is the principal Architect of 'studio Polymorph'. He holds a Masters degree in Advanced Design and Digital Architecture from Elisava School of Design, Spain. His specialization is in performative and parametric Design Processes for Architecture, which is an interdisciplinary research initiative focused on the investigation of integral strategies and processes in architecture. Research and architecture includes studies in computationally advanced design techniques, material systems, parametric-associative strategies for design and manufacturing, material engineering, composite structures and digital fabrication. After his graduation in Architecture from Mumbai University, he worked with young architects like Sameep Padora & Associates and Rajiv Saini & Associates for 7 years before he decided to pursue his post graduate education. After returning from Spain in 2011, Pankaj started his own practice which is based out of Mumbai.
