Founded in early 2016 by architects Vu Hoang Son and Vu Hoang Ha, VUUV operates in many fields related to architecture: practice, theory, teaching and architectural cinema.
With nearly twenty years of experience studying and working in Switzerland, we do not judge the quality of architecture on a small or large scale, but on what message it wants to convey. From designing tables and chairs to buildings that have a great impact on the urban environment, they all pose the same challenge to us and we take them with the same passion.
Architecture is always considered an art industry, and when we love art, we cannot limit ourselves in a single industry, we always nurture ourselves in the world of painting, cinema, literature ... Having said that all arts have a common denominator, that’s emotion. A beautiful architectural work is like a good movie, it is the work that causes great emotions to which we always look forward.
But more than ever, for us architecture is practiced by the word “adaptive”. It must adapt to the climate, environment, society, economic conditions ... and especially must adapt to the people living in it. Architects must use their talents to find the most effective solution, meeting all of these adaptations. VUUV does not follow “individualism” to see architecture from a narrow perspective. Valuable architecture is not about the architect but about their work.
