As the lead designer at Woodstock Furniture, I’ve spent a great deal of time with clients – discussing different options, providing some creative inspiration, but above all, listening. In all the years I’ve been involved with the business, I’ve never tried to sell anyone a particular ‘range’ or impose my views on them. After all, it’s their kitchen, bathroom or living space, rather than mine. At our workshop in Hampshire, I know we have craftsmen who use traditional machinery to create beautiful and bespoke pieces of furniture. I’m always confident that we can take a client’s idea and work with it, producing a design that’s individual and distinctive. In short, our philosophy has always been the same: with the right thinking, open discussion and some real dedication, anything becomes possible.
