Pedro Geraldes (Porto, 1981) - architect, creative, lecturer, volunteer. (www.pedrogeraldes.com) Since 2010, responsible for the coordination and development of major architecture projects of hydroelectric power plants at EDP (#3 energy company in the world). Collaborates with EDP Innovation, managing special projects in the energy sector (edpstarter.com). Serves as a lecturer at the Corporate University of EDP. Co-founder and partner at Clínica de Arquitectura and co-organizer and partnerships director of TEDxPorto. Activator at Clube Criativos de Portugal (Portugal Creatives Club), being responsible for establishing contacts, supporting/ promoting events and facilitate contact with the creative community. Dedicates significant amount of time to architecture, creativity and innovation; conceiving new projects, acting as jury of innovation contests, as mentor to start-up ventures and investigating the creative process. Serves as volunteer and coordinator of social initiatives promoted by EDP and Junior Achievement Portugal. Attended the German School of Porto until he was 18 years old, graduated with distinction in architecture from the School of Architecture at the University of Oporto and completed post-graduate studies in Rehabilitation of Historic Buildings from the School of Engineering at the University of Oporto. Through the years, also developed specific skills as creative direction, creativity management, industrial and residential architecture, event direction and team leadership.
