STILL urban design is a urban design studio, constituted by architects, urbanists and landscape architects, focused on the bioclimatic rehabilitation of outdoor spaces, creating wholistic design solutions. We incorporate bioclimatic design [a conception committed with the mediation between man, climate, and environment] in order to make outdoor urban spaces more attractive due to better conditions for thermal comfort – we are concerned in attracting and retaining people to outdoor urban spaces year-round by attenuating climate extremes. While taking climate as a design parameter our interventions create thermal comfort balanced spaces and, thus, able of attracting and retaining more people and, indirectly, of contributing to the energy sufficiency of buildings [reducing CO2 emissions and energy consumption]. Additionally, we put forth solutions for the sustainability and energy efficiency targets imposed by national and international documents.
