Tad.atelier is an architecture, interior, and landscape design office founded by Vu Tien An (2016) in Go Vap, Ho Chi Minh City. The design office mainly focuses on medium and small-scale projects. From the beginning to now, we maintained both academic and architectural practice activities. We conceive of buildings as living entities rather than objects; where architecture becomes backgrounds, embracing human activities and allowing necessary customizations over time. We believe architecture can create many opportunities for dialogues, locations for people to meet and maintain essential connections with nature.
Vu Tien An (born 1987, Khanh Hoa, Vietnam), graduated with major in architecture design (2010) at the University of Architecture of Ho Chi Minh City (UAH) - where he also worked as an architecture lecturer from 2011 to present. He then completed the Advanced Master Program of Human Settlement at KU Leuven University, Belgium (2015). In 2018 he completed the Ando Program in Osaka, Japan.
