After several forays into yacht and resort projects, Flexform is using their decades of experience manufacturing high-end furnishings to launch an outdoor collection that includes seating systems, sofas, armchairs, tables, chairs and many accessories.
Flexform partners with a select group of designers, such as Antonio Citterio, and re-editions of iconic products designed by Mario Asnago and Claudio Vender. They create designs that embody the talent and skills of Made in Italy products, which are known for their use of lasting materials and timeless elegance with a contemporary touch.
Designed by Antonio Citterio in 2011 Grandemare delivers the comfort of an indoor upholstered sofa in an outdoor version. The design rests on a laminated platform set back from the edges to give a floating appearance. Grandemare has a modular system that allows for a vast array of arrangements.
With its characteristic woven pattern the Volcano offers compositional flexibility and a high degree of customization. The base is made from marine plywood combined with a steel structure and armrest. The steel is a stainless steel super alloy that ensures a durable performance in an outdoor setting.
Another design by Antonio Citterio, who materialized the Monreale table with weather resistant iroko wood. Its strong curving legs have groove-mounted tips made from die-cast metal alloy and nylon pads to protect the wood from direct contact. The wooden top is available in natural, stained grey or lacquered white finish.
