Eternal house. Made of earth, lime, cork and wood

One of the two owners, a descendant of a family of potters and ceramists who preserved this tradition in the construction stage, proposed to build their house with the working material of their ancestors: clay and craftwork. The location of the site, next to the family ceramic workshop, facilitated the production of the adobes, updated in modern compressed earth blocks (CEB). The earth would be extracted from the usual location available in the area, located in the nearby municipalities of Puente del Arzobispo and Alcolea de Tajo. Flevoland Food Forum reveals a compelling adobe façade drawn from the land beneath

Located in the Netherlands, Flevoland Food Forum pavilion is positioned more than four meters below sea level on the Floriade Park in Almere.
