Okygo

Okygo Barcelona 2023 Elton Rocha A small take-away coffee shop in the center of Barcelona called OKYGO. The idea of the place was to create an interior completely opposite to the atmosphere of the old city streets. The ultra modern and urban design of the place gives the feeling of being in a parallel reality, as if you suddenly find yourself inside a 3D rendering or the metaverse. Elton Rocha One of the walls is completely clad with panels that imitate metal, while the other walls and the floor have a continuous shape thanks to a seamless microcement cladding; there are no skirting boards or moldings here. All brackets are concealed. Table lamps integrated into the Krion countertop add a touch of homey comfort, but here it mor... Mehr

Farm Cup Coffee

Liqui’s cafe design for Farm Cup was another interesting American project for us as they serve both coffee and cocktails. The style of the coffee shop interior design is partly inspired by Bali restaurants similar to those that the owners had seen on a trip to the country. With its bohemian details, the cafe design also reflects the cultural diversity of the Echo Park neighbourhood where it is located. Northwest of downtown L.A., just east of Chinatown, this up-and-coming area is popular with creatives and foodies alike making it a great location for something a bit different. Crate47 Farm Cup’s focus is on organically grown, single origin coffee sourced directly from the farm owners – perfect credentials for a speci... Mehr

Demitasse

Demitasse is another project where Liqui was responsible for both the restaurant interior design and the build, while our creative agency Crate47 took care of the branding. Working hand in hand like this means that clients receive a fully integrated service that results in the brand and interior working in unison to create a truly harmonious brand experience. It also means that with everything being handled in one place, there is a flow of ideas back and forth between all disciplines leading to a greater degree of continuity throughout the project as a whole. Added to this is the practical aspect of Liqui taking care of every part of the interior fit out. This holistic approach was very appealing to the couple behind Demitasse who, having t... Mehr

Dramatic shapes, colours, and materials headline at Saigon’s Anh Coffee Roastery

Situated in the centre of Saigon, Anh Coffee Roastery features a large façade width and a deep setback within an existing architectural block. During the design process, Red5studio were inspired by the visuals of basalt red land growing coffee on a cloudy day and the feeling of being immersed in a dramatic landscape.  Đỗ Sỹ The deeply recessed nature of the original building made it possible to incorporate considerable greenery. A path outside the building leads guests from the interior space of the first floor to a small outdoor garden on the second floor. Brew92 - Mecca

Liqui’s modern coffee shop design for Brew92 in Mecca harks back to the glamour of Art Deco interiors. In particular, with a palette of bright pinks and blues being used throughout, the coffee shop interior reflects the Tropical Deco style of decor that’s so indicative of Miami’s beachfront hotels from an era full of optimism. The clean lines, strong geometric shapes, and curving forms synonymous with the buildings of the period can be clearly seen in the architectural features of the interior design such as the wraparound coffee counter design, the arched doorways, and the way in which the different sized tiles are delineated on the floors. The Deco style is also clearly expressed in the bespoke banquette seating islands... Mehr

JISU Speciality Coffee Shop designed influenced by the public spaces of Buenos Aires

This coffee shop project by Tomas Mielnikowicz Architects draws influence from the public squares of the surrounding Buenos Aires neighbourhood, where elements of national and eastern culture merge with the aroma of coffee. The resulting space features geometries in harmony with neutral tones, stone materials, specific vegetation and a central sculptural piece in the form of the main lighting component. Hernan Taboada Harmonious and simple, the space was developed so that different uses and functions can be carried out. To achieve the sense of public space that Buenos Aires is known for, the architects included one of the most seen tiles in the squares and sidewalks of the city: this being the 64-sided tile. 1900 Coffee brings life back to a historic Kyiv building

Originally constructed in 1911, this former monument of architecture and heritage by Kyiv architect Alyoshin had fallen into disrepair during the 20th century. By the early 2000s, it was being used as a janitor's office. Recognizing the lost heritage of the building, a gradual restoration commenced, culminating in today's 1900 Coffee, a brand who have made preserving the cultural heritage of Kyiv a core value of their company.  Andrei Bezuglov At the beginning of the project, PVA Architects did not know exactly the condition of the existing building walls, which were concealed by layers of drywall. After four weeks of dismantling layers of wall decor and removing rubbish, the original elements of the building began to emerge.&nbs... Mehr
