VOIX – showroom audio video

The VOIX Showroom was established by combining two independent spaces, located in the left and right sections of the ground floor of the building at the corner of Dušní and Salvátorská Streets in the historical location of the Old Town (Staré Město). Our brief was to create several listening rooms, a home cinema, a shop and an office with a back room. The right-hand section of the premises had earlier housed a clothes store, whose features were reflected in the interior design. The recessed part of the ground floor was completely reconstructed. This space was used to insert the biggest listening room and the home cinema. Inscape Meditation Studio

INSCAPE, a new meditation concept, opened in Manhattan 2016. Archi-Tectonics designed the Inscape concept not only as a one-off, but also for worldwide distribution. The first PROTO space in Chelsea occupies a large 6000sf ground floor. The space contains a set of large volumes; ellipsoid meditation spaces; a “Dome Room” and an “Alcove room”, an extensive retail space, as well as a lounge for guests. An important element of healthy living is found in lifestyle changes, meditation and ‘cleaner’ live-work environments. When developing the Inscape meditation concept, prefab construction, renewable materials, such as bamboo, linen and cardboard, became the driver of the spatial configueration.   Medita... Mehr

OPUS Business Park Helsinki – A Unique Acoustic Space

Commissioned to design the reception areas for the newly renovated OPUS Business Park in Helsinki, interior designers Niina Sihto and Emma Keränen converted an empty, grey tiled space into a warm, welcoming reception hall. They eliminated sound reflections from tiled floors and huge glass windows by installing a number of BAUX designs. The texture of the wood-wool tiles contrasted the hard surfaces and helped to soft the space. The colours have also had a huge impact. The client wanted a warm feeling on entering the building, so Nina and Emma chose soft reds that complemented the client’s brand identify. The inspiration for the designs came from our BAUX design tool and sample images on the BAUX website. The construction process was quic... Mehr

KPMG Copenhagen – Scandinavian Style

On moving to their new offices nestled in the newly renovated Nordhaven district in Copenhagen, KPMG wanted to create a space that represented their Nordic business values. Lead designer Francisco Sarria, took his inspiration from the dockside location. The idea was to bring the location indoors. Large-scale BAUX designs fill the reception and waiting areas with visions of sea and sky. It’s here that visitors get their first taste of the relaxed Nordic style of business. The geometric BAUX shapes meant many possibilities for graphic expression. Everything points up and to the right – forwards, towards innovation. Two twenty-meter tall BAUX designs give the feeling of being outside, in the harbour on a summer’s day. Wood fibre textures an... Mehr
