Benjamin Norton Photography Benjamin Norton Photography Benjamin Norton Photography Benjamin Norton Photography Benjamin Norton Photography The project's location on a commercial corridor and immediately adjacent to a historic single-family residential neighborhood created design and zoning challenges that the project team used for inspiration. Jardins do Lago Max

The Jardins do Lago Max Club and Portal is located on land that has a natural lagoon, which is the starting point for the project. The characteristic landscape was the main motivation for seeking an architecture that, in addition to coexisting harmoniously with the environment, also integrated as much as possible with the context of its surroundings, seeking large spans, lightness in its volumes and openings that enhanced the visuals. Felipe Petrovsky The Club is located in front of the existing lagoon and seeks a flat architecture that hugs the lagoon at an angle. Based on the light metallic structure, the roof rests on cylindrical pillars that subtly touch the floor of the building, protecting the common area environments. The chamf... Mehr

Montornès Nord Park - Urban Regeneration

The objective of the project has been the urban regeneration of an area of 8110m2 transforming what was an old abandoned sports facility into a new Urban Park. Pol Viladoms The challenges of the project have been diverse: 1- To make a Park that brings back the imaginary of plowed fields and orchards that existed in the area, promoting a very marked linearity in the elements, a cultivated nature and putting in the center the resource of plowing the soil as a tool of design and project. Pol Viladoms 2- To attain a dialogue between the Park and the biodiversity of the Turó de les Tres Creus, reserving 50% of the surface to be vegetated over time by the natural cycles with large carpets of plowed, fertile surface, stimulated... Renovation of the Republic Complex

In the southwest of France, facing the Pyrenees Mountain, the “Complexe de la République” built in 1975 in Pau, had been declining for several years due to the dilapidation of its covered market, flanked by a squat office building in very poor condition. After an international competition, the Ameller Dubois’s studio project was chosen by proposing a global response, taking charge of all the ambitions raised by this operation, both in terms of image and use, architecture, and urban planning, dedicated to the Pau’s population. The project's exceptional location has been rediscovered as a destination, attractive and seductive, to bring the district back to life. © Franck BROUILLET Combining in a singl... Mehr

Pedestrian canyon in residential quarter

Located in the Uktus Mountains next to the forest park, Shishimskaya Gorka is a residential quarter in the southern part of Yekaterinburg. It is one of the highest locations in Yekaterinburg, offering a view of the city centre and having one of steepest reliefs city-wise. The area was host to factory buildings and workers’ settlements in the 18th and 19th centuries. All the buildings were wooden, and due to frequent fires the district was rebuilt many times. In the Soviet times it saw active construction — first wooden houses were built, later prefabricated ones. Carcavelos

The proposal is designed to adapt to the surrounding context in a precise, simple and respectful way to the existing topography. Situated between a natural and an urbanised landscape, the shape closes to the north, extending the alignments of the surrounding buildings and protecting the housing block from the noise coming from the limits of the road. On the contrary, it opens to the south to approach the scale of the central park, allowing its extension within space, reducing the impact of the urban density planned for the site. The volume is distributed to generate attractive collective spaces based on three spatial concepts that correspond respectively to three different scales: a central patio for students; several garden terraces on a... Le Grand-Chemin Nord

Situated on the edge of a forest and a river, this currently unbuilt site marks the end of a residential area in Epalinges.
