WICLINE 75 MAX – Revolutionary window system made from post-consumer aluminium
WICLINE 75 MAX is the first window system on the market made from post-consumer aluminium as standard. The system has been certified by DNV GL Business Assurance Norway AS. In addition to the aluminium used, the thermal insulation bars are manufactured from recycled polyamide. This product is unique in the sector and a genuinely sustainable solution for future generations.
The window has also been awarded C2C silver certification – an alternative that complements other well-known building certificates (DGNB, LEED, BREEAM, etc.).
With a Uw value of up to 0.81 W/m²K (for a standard window size of 1230 mm x 1480 mm; glass with a Ug value of 0.50 W/m²K), this innovative window system, developed for triple glazing, sets high standards, thereby contributing to energy savings and a reduced environmental impact.
In response to demands from architects and developers for sleek façade designs, the window system uses slim aluminium profiles. This innovative aluminium window offers an optimised design for a harmonious appearance, maximum transparency for greater light and comfort, and maximum sustainability for the protection of our climate. In short, it is a window for the city of the future.
Design was also an important consideration when this window system was developed. New concealed sashes free from any distracting profiles create a uniform external appearance, meaning that the fixed and opening elements are indistinguishable. A minimalist design has been chosen on the inside too, with concealed hinges and fittings, and even a new, innovative window handle, which has been completely integrated into the sash and can also be coated in exactly the same colour as the profile. The innovative design concept behind this concealed window handle has been recognised with an iF Design Award 2018 (‘Product’ discipline – ‘Building Technology’ category) and a Red Dot Design Award 2018 in the ‘Product Design’ category – two renowned international awards conferred by expert juries.
