Product description

MINI TIQAL is a range of ceiling-recessed downlights in high density plaster, especially adapted for drywalls (gypsum plasterboard or staff) and equipped with standard retrofit lighting sources (MR16 or GU10) or IP54 COB LED lighting sources. With 4 different models (from 1 to 3 lighting points), MINI TIQAL offers a fine lighting solution, simple and elegant, with a powerful light output. The cast body is built of rectangular shape, which facilitates the installation in plasterboard by drywall installers, plasterers and electricians. In addition, the installation is carried out with "special tools" or "butterflies" supplied with the equipment. These so-called butterflies, recently patented by Atelier Sedap, make the fixing irrespective of the thickness of the plasterboard partition and enable obtaining perfectly invisible joints. Finally, the system “UP-TURN-LOCK” provides an extremely simple installation and maintenance of the spot.

The MINI TIQAL embody the evolution of the collection of recessed spotlights by Atelier Sedap by the following progress: . Fineness of "illuminating opening" which is reduced from 80 to 55 mm. . The new equipment installation UP TURN LOCK system allows the installer an extremely simple and quick attachment of the spot (and its LED power supply), while allowing easier maintenance (by the electrician or the end customer ). . The specifier may choose between various sources of lighting: 1. LED source COB (Chip On Board), including IP54 for bathrooms 2. Standard retrofit sources MR16 or GU10 (dichroic or LED)

Mini TIQAL brings a new lighting solution with various benefits to the installer's attention (electrician or plasterboad installer)

1. Ease of installation No hole saw or complicated pattern layout, the installer has to open a square or rectangular reservation in the ceiling He will then finish the 4 coated joints in plaster glue, before painting. This process is the standard installation of a switch or electrical outlet. The "staircase" shape of the molding makes the installation easier and safer by imposing a minimum width of the joint, to achieve a perfect finish.

2. Speed of installation No need for template model or metal housing. Cutting + gluing + joints finishing + installation of electrical equipment = 20 minutes for the small Mini TIQAL (1 spot).

3. Easy maintenance All electrical equipment is accessible from below, without affecting plaster or plasterboard. This critical advantage is a great help to the electrician for the installation and for an extremely simple maintenance (UP-TURN-LOCK system: see attached sheet).

4. Variety of available sources With 3 types of equipment proposed (MR16, GU10 LED or COB), the prescriber or the electrician can easily choose the most suitable light source according to the project (halogen dichroic, LED retrofit, COB LED, G9 encapsulated ...).
