As part of a $21 mil Interior remodel, and working with EHS Design (architect), Michael Courtney Design created a hospitality based, branded, comprehensive Experiential Graphics program to greet, guide and inform the 440,000 people who visit the Washington State Convention Center each year.
The design of the new interior way finding and graphics program is deliberately oriented towards a clean, contemporary look. The color palette includes warm brown wood, greens and blues, and silver accents. In addition to this foundation, we added a Red Carpet treatment to greet visitors, incorporated digital technology at key locations and developed a consistent, easy-to-follow graphic language for visitors.
