Architecture Plus Information (A+I) Offices

A+I stands for Architecture Plus Information. Our name signifies our firm’s investigative approach and creative curiosity. We are a strategy-led, integrated design and architecture agency, offering design services from inception to completion. Headquartered in New York City, A+I was founded in 1996 by Brad Zizmor and Dag Folger who met at Columbia University. At the time, the blossoming dot-com era spotlighted architecture's ability to push the boundaries of workplace design and meet the evolving needs of its workers. For the last 27-years, we have stayed at the forefront of workplace innovation, harnessing information, and creativity to design and build ambitious, amenity-rich spaces for innovative organizations across the world, including Squarespace, Equinox, and Peloton, and collaborating with future-facing developers such as Silverstein, Hines, and Vornado Realty Trust to design highly desirable spaces that differentiate and drive value. Our approach to projects always starts with strategy, because we believe the best design is built on information. We argue that the physical environment is the most visceral way for a company to embody its values, reflect its ethos and communicate its ambition, carrying culture and mission through times of change and radical transformation. This moment of transformation presents great opportunity for astute organizations to meet the changing needs of their talent. Our entire company is organized around the principle of integration. Each of our studios includes strategists, architects, interior and graphic designers, brand specialists, and communications experts. Today, our many professionals work hand in hand to create the spaces that re-imagine the future of work and propel our client’s businesses and their people forward.
