Sergi Pons architects

Born in 1977 in Barcelona. He studied architecture in Oporto FAUP and Barcelona ETSAB. He graduated with honors as an architect from the School of Architecture of Barcelona in 2003. He has been working as a collaborator in Josep Llinas office working in projects such as “Vil.la de Gràcia” library and “Josep Fuster” library among others in BCN. Professor at the International University of Catalonia UIC since 2004 in vertical workshops such us: “Skyscrapers” with Jose Luis Mateo “Objetos vivos, juegos sociales” with Mansilla-Tuñón and ”Arquitectura de emergencia x 10″ workshop where he was awarded for the A-house shelter. Since 2006 he has been running his own architecture and design studio winning some national competitions. He has been invited to give lectures in several universities in BCN. The awarded works has been published in many specialized issues and books. He has won the City of Barcelona Prize 2011 for the “Julia Tower“ building.
