Binario is a cultural project that mixes workshop spaces, store, terraces and a flexible space that in the words of Alejandra Molano and Andrés Felipe Pardo, the minds behind it all, houses creative practices such as visual and plastic arts, design, music and theater in small formats. It is also a 4-level architectural exercise thought and built by several hands between 2018 and 2020, with a nopal gray metallic structure and clay masonry in various formats.
In its origin coexist the question about the scale and the constructive tradition of the neighborhood, a tribute to the school of small buildings of the first modernity of Bogota, the intention to harmoniously assemble different uses, or the possibility of understanding the front garden as an active boundary equipped for interaction with the street.
