Piano B Architetti Associati como Arquitectos

The house project has a trend of alternating turns. This planimetric setting simultaneously favors the movement of the user and the interpenetration of internal and external space.

The organization of the space, which is critical of the concept of open space, provides for a subdivision of the functional areas with devices ranging from sliding panels to fixed and mobile furnishings to structural elements. Each area is recognizable and welcoming even within a large-sized whole. On the other hand, the space appears further expanded by the presence of mirrors, reflective ceiling portions and dividers that do not reach the ceiling.

Moving forward between layers that allow glimpses of other layers, one simultaneously perceives a wide and deep space and a series of intimate areas.
