Rémy Cointreau

PARELLA GROUP como Arquitectos

CONTEXT

For almost 300 years, the Rémy Cointreau Group, whose origins date back to 1724, has been developing a portfolio of unique premium brands. The Group cultivates three centuries of know-how and family traditions, embodied in its values of "terroirs, people and time". Its ambition: to become the world leader in exceptional spirits.

To support this strategy of conquest and international development, the Group has transformed its working environment and wanted to offer its employees a different way of working. The search for and creation of a new headquarters and the introduction of new ways of working quickly became imperative. Following a call for tenders, Rémy Cointreau chose Parella to assist with the search for premises, the acculturation and implementation of new working methods and the design and construction of its new headquarters.

DESIGN & IMPLEMENTATION

The co-design of the workspaces involved six months of discussions, starting with an immersion phase in the Rémy Cointreau Group's facilities.
Introductory visits to the cellars and wineries in Cognac and Angers allowed Parella to fully immerse himself in the group's culture and identity. These visits also provided an opportunity to research and collect objects emblematic of the Group's heritage.

In addition, the new identity of the Rémy Cointreau Group's headquarters was enhanced with the active contribution of the Rémy Cointreau Foundation. Like a gallery, the three floors of rue Balzac house a selection of works by craftsmen represented and supported by the Foundation.

The 3,500 m2 of space includes a large restaurant area, a bar and a terrace of over 400 m2 with a magnificent view over the rooftops of Paris. A tasting room, ten meeting rooms of various types, a number of bubbles near the communal areas and a beautiful reception area complete this new headquarters.
