The facade of the new winery in Tramin is imaginatively woven into the surrounding vineyards. The visual core of the spectacular building are the vine – like aluminium cylinders, which "grow around" an angled glass facade. The largest part of the Bolzano winery hides among vineyards and is accessible via round ramps. But the most striking part was also the biggest challenge for us. It is a double facade that surrounds the central cube on three sides. Our know-how was already requested during the development of the structural system. We were thus able to convince and ultimately realise the enormous grapevine leaf structure suspended in perforated sheeting.
