Designblok is an international design festival founded in 1999. Represents the current world and domestic news Design in Prague's most important shops and galleries. The center of festival events are Designblok Superstudio situated in the exceptional architectural objects in Prague, in which an area of over 10,000 square meters present a special installations, manufacturers and designers from around the world. Designblok and fashion is traditionally a part of the action is Designblok Fashion Week, where they present top Czech and foreign designers. This year's Designblok with a new subtitle Prague Design and Fashion Week, occupy several palaces and historical sites in the city center. Superstudio will be located in Clam Gallas Palace in Hus street in the Old Town and Kafka's house on Franz Kafka Square in the Old Town Square. Superstudio are primarily intended for corporate presentations. Designing presentation will be placed in the newly created Openstudiu that occupy space Martinický Renaissance palace at Hradcany Square. Openstudio is conceived as a laboratory for design and as a presentation space for designers, schools and fashion designer. The new section will also be strengthened jewelry that will have a separate room. Fashion Week will take place at the residence of the Mayor of Prague and surprisingly also in the church of St. Simon and St. Jude in Dušní street.
