MiCue Milano Design on the occasion of the Third Edition of the Milan Design Film Festival (MDFF) is promoting a Second Edition of the contest KISS – Keep it simple ’n’ short for granting the MDFF Short Film Award, this year aimed at the selection of unpublished short films on the theme, Milan: where the design lives? Will be selected audiovisual works that lasts a maximum of 10 minutes. The contest, entitled “Milan: where design lives?”, wants to investigate the presence of the culture of design and architecture in Milan, an historic city, has always been known as the capital of the project and the protagonist of a new surge of urban development. There is no foreclosure subjects of investigation. The contest is open to Video-makers, directors and all those, whether Italian or not, who intend to try their hand at an audiovisual work. The two awards (Short Film MDFF Award and Audience Short Film MDFF Award) will be assigned during MDFF 2015 (15—18 October) after the presentation of the short film finalists to the jury and the public. To participate in the Competition, the following materials must be sent (following, «Materials»): - Synopsis: max 1 page in Italian and in English (1800 characters including spaces) in word or pdf format - Scene photos or short film stills: max 5 (.jpg; 300 dpi; 15x20 cm); - Author’s biographical details sheet/ in Word or PDF format; - Short film Trailer with maximum duration of 1 min. (optional); - The synopsis, the photos, the biographical details sheet and the trailer must be delivered on DVD - 2 copies of the Audiovisual Work on DVD.
