Announcing the 2016 trends and themes: 'Return of ... & Nationalities' Return of... Over the last six editions manytalented designers, labels, institutions and academies have presented their work at Ventura Lambrate. For this seventh edition (12-17 April 2016) we are happyto welcome back designers whose work has become known thanks to their participation in Ventura Lambrate. They have made valuable contacts and struck great deals. Now they are working on developing new projects and are back at Ventura Lambrate to highlight their new work. “Their successes are our successes, and it feels good to have a part of the big Ventura Lambrate familyreturn,” says Margriet Vollenberg, founder and art director of Ventura Lambrate. Ventura Lambrate is the internationally renowned platform dedicated tonew design trends, cutting edge concepts, emerging talents, innovative design products, successful experimentations and it is the only curated district of the Salone del Mobile. The seventh edition of Ventura Lambrate will take place from the 12th to the 17th of April, in the inspiring post-industrial Lambrate district, situated in the north east of the city and well connected to the other key spots of Milan Fuorisalone. Completely curated and produced by the Dutch studio Organisation in Design, Ventura Lambrate is an established circuit characterised by a unique and professional atmosphere where designers, labels, institutions, collectives and other exhibitors can present their latest projects to an international and very interested audience. Since 2010, Ventura Lambrate – as well as the other Ventura Projects– creates and presents to a wide professional audience (largely made up by press, buyers, opinion makers, trend setters, producers, dealers, gallery holders, curators, museum directors) a strong curated selection in contemporary design.
