In 1983 the Boffa family established Building Spa, a development and construction company, and operated as a 100% family-owned business. After 31 years, Building Spa is composed of design, architecture, and building experts which main objective is to create new initiatives in the metropolitan, industrial, and commercial sectors. As a team, the company has achieved to create properties, paying special attention to the construction process, starting from the design stage and ending with the details of finishing, including a strenuous search for proper materials and adequate architectural solutions. As a result, the company is involved in the purchase of land, design, construction, freehold commercialization, and management.
Building Engineering was formed in 2000 from the need to create a self-representation and support for Building Spa. The company has improved over time as a consequence of the investments, and technical structure organization used by the owner Mr. Piero Boffa. The organization of Building Engineering is composed of a crew of 14: the architect Luca Sabino Petrone, responsible of the organization and accountability of the office space; the architect Salvatore Grillo who coordinates six design engineers and one structural engineer, meanwhile the geometrician Marco Gribaudo is responsible of three technicians who take care of the accountings and cadastral operations. With this team, Building follows different projects such as the study of visionary goals through the realization of study models, hand sketches, passing by pre elementary and definitive projects throughout the production of communal practices and corollary to finally arrive to the executive study of work pieces, throughout a virtual representation and the graphical restitution projects. Thirteen years of experience make Building Engineering a complete design studio, autonomous in all ways in constant supervision of the problems of the yard, and capable of responding to the needs of the most diverse design including possibility of studies and virtual simulations, Building Engineering is the strength of the team spirit, the result of a passionate approach to work, where everyone is an integral part of the process and the finished product.
