Brief We’ve always been known for our brilliant colors and glosses. For our new Matte Series finishes, we turned to nature’s simpler palette. These muted, calming hues evoke red-clay soil. The smooth grey of river rocks. Blue limestone outcroppings. Slate black. A Mediterranean olive tree. The shimmering white of late-afternoon cirrus clouds. Now your design can stand apart – or rest in harmony with the elements – with a complete choice of finishes from the leader in esthetics and quality: ALPOLIC® materials.
About this product Aluminum composite materials in our Matte Series are finished with a top coat of Fluropon® PVDF resin. With continuous coil coating using our advanced die coating process, these materials provide a smooth, consistent finish in understated colors that perfectly capture the hues of nature. All our finishes meet or exceed AAMA 2605 specifications to deliver superior durability, weatherability and chemical resistance.

Sustainability begins with our own manufacturing processes, maximizing the use of recycled materials while maintaining the highest standards of product quality. Our PE core products – the finest available architectural panels of their kind – contain more than 75% percent recycled materials. We also actively work to reduce our energy consumption, reduce the raw materials used in all our product lines, and capture production waste for reuse or recycling.
Sustainability endures in the buildings that feature our products. The Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) requires an SRI value of 29 or greater for steep-slope roofs to earn a “Cool” rating, and many of our Architectural stock colors meet this requirement. We provide the Solar Reflectance Index for most of our stock finishes to help you make the best choice for energy efficient, sustainable architecture. We also provide LEED Contribution Data Sheets to help you calculate the credits your building earns toward LEED certification for sustainable architecture.
Sustainability comes full circle with our Operation Encore program. Operation Encore makes it easy for you to recycle ALPOLIC® materials when buildings are renovated and re-clad. ALPOLIC® materials are virtually 100 percent recyclable, and through Operation Encore we’ll accept used materials, separate them, and place the components in the appropriate industry recycling streams.
