Through the vision of a local developer, this project encompasses the redevelopment of an underutilized site for a new six-story, 137-unit, mixed-use multi-family building at the junction of NuLu and Butchertown, two burgeoning neighborhoods at the edge of Downtown Louisville, Kentucky.
The project's location on a commercial corridor and immediately adjacent to a historic single-family residential neighborhood created design and zoning challenges that the project team used for inspiration. The podium construction consists of four stories of apartments built with pre-engineered wood framing above 2 stories of parking garage and commercial space built with steel-reinforced post-tensioned concrete.
Building amenities include a 3rd floor swimming pool and pool deck, clubhouse, office break-out spaces, leasing office, fitness center, pocket garden, and on-site cycling hub.
