PAVA architects is an interdisciplinary practice in environmental design studio, based in Bangkok. PAVA is founded by Pacharapan Ratananakorn and Varat Limwibul. We practice cross-disciplinary boundaries and conduct research to bridge the gap between architecture, interior architecture, landscape architecture and urban design disciplines. PAVA considers architecture as a process and system rather than a singularity and sublime. From our perspective, what architecture “does” is more important than what architecture “is” or “means”. It is our belief that the critical practice in architecture needs to represent a multi-dimensions of context not only form, space and order of architecture but also reflect the invisible layers of economics, politics, culture and the environment.
