Woodyglass is a designer and manufacturer of wood and glass partitions of the highest aesthetic and technical quality. It offers the Czech and European markets a comprehensive, certified range of wood and glass products for the interior design of all types of buildings.
The unique concept of wood and glass panelless partitions was launched by Woodyglass in 2019 as an alternative to aluminum products. It has provided architects, designers, and investors with a unique product for sustainable buildings and pleasant, high-quality interiors.
Woodyglass partitions meet the demanding parameters of air tightness and fire resistance. They are ideal for offices and public buildings where the emphasis is on a high-quality and functional environment. The wood material has a positive effect on the human psyche and the combination with glass has a space-creating effect. The separation of rooms creates the necessary privacy while maintaining the visual compactness and permeability of the whole.
Woodyglass production combines minimalist, subtle design with technical precision. "We develop and manufacture products for contemporary architecture, where the quality of the indoor environment in terms of materials, acoustic comfort, fire safety, visual and tactile experience is crucial," says Jan Lucký, Sales Director of Woodyglass.
"Controlling the source of the material and every step of the process guarantees the highest quality of products and services - from design to implementation and installation. We offer architects individual solutions tailored to their projects," adds Tomáš Přibilík, who is in charge of production and order processing.
Woodyglass products co-create the interiors of the most important buildings of contemporary Czech architecture. They form a characteristic element of the interiors of the Kloboucká lesní office building, a phenomenal wooden building designed by Mjölk architects, which is not only a winner of a national architecture award but also a manifesto for sustainable architecture. Among many other significant realizations, the dynamic offices of the media house CNC in Hagibor, the law offices of Allen & Overy by Reaktor Studio, and the exclusive character of the interiors of Masaryk designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, define the project. The design of wood-glass partitions for classrooms and interiors of schools and kindergartens, for example in the project VIA Beroun by ov-architects, is groundbreaking.
