The transformation of two existing classrooms into a single, expansive Engineering Studio at the Town School has created a dynamic and adaptable space for students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Under the guidance of dedicated faculty, this environment encourages exploration of engineering concepts through hands-on tinkering and creative problem-solving.
The studio’s design emphasizes flexibility and innovation, featuring height-adjustable and mobile work surfaces, sliding whiteboards, and two Lego robotics tables that can be raised and lowered from the ceiling. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology such as 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC milling, this high-tech studio fosters an inclusive and versatile learning environment.
Students will benefit from a space that not only supports their academic growth but also encourages their creativity and collaboration, preparing them for the challenges of the future.
