LOCATION AND CONTEXT
The Hôpital Lyon Sud (HLS) metro station completes the extension of line B of the Lyon metro.
Located opposite the hospital, along the Chemin du Grand Revoyet, the new urban development project includes the metro station, an express bus line, a 900-space park-and-ride facility and commercial premises.

The context
The choice of the metro for public transportation, implies significant investments in works and in the time needed to build the infrastructures. With only 223,000 inhabitants within the city limits, Rennes is today the smallest city to have two metro lines.

AZC architectes, in association with Architram, was commissioned to design four of the fifteen metro stations for the new line B in Rennes. We carried out the design and architectural supervision assignments for the four underground stations - Mabilais, Colombier, Saint Germain and Gares - which were delivered in 2022.

Simple and robust Paris Metro Line reaches great depths with an impressive structural concept
Located at the base of the Paris judicial tribunals, the new Porte de Clichy station by AZC Atelier Zündel Cristea and ARCHITRAM is part of the northern extension of Metro Line 14. Relatively bare, the station is emblematic of the extension project as a whole with its great main spaces organised and designed according to rational principles of simplicity and robustness. It is one of four new stations covering 5.8 km of tunnel tracks and serving approximately 96,000 additional inhabitants.
