The Center for Advanced Pediatrics exemplifies the theme of "Feeding through Nature". The positive healing effects of nature have been well documented; thus, the design team aimed to blur the line between exterior and interior. Thanks to the ample natural light, view and access to the garden, patients and their families are more connected to nature. Outside, the two stair towers represent the terra-cotta edges of a waterfall - with red terra-cotta representing Georgia's red clay. The intervening blue glass curtain uses curved vertical struts to replicate the random way the water moves along the waterfall. Size: 7500sq. ft The project brief involved designing the head office for the leading supplier of engineered equipment to global chemical and pharmaceutical markets. Located in the upcoming business district of Mumbai, New Cuffe Parade, the 7500 sq ft office space encompasses 3 zones; the directors’ chambers with its allied facilities, the senior management zone, and a general office area. The directors’ zone holds the cabins for the two directors along with a spacious shared director’s lounge, tying the two spaces together. DOGTROT HOUSE refurbishes a bungalow from 1926 which has undergone numerous renovations. Surveys indicate that the house was originally a two-unit “dog trot”, a uniquely American typology, here re-interpreted in a contemporary configuration. Ibai Rigby Four independent ‘cabins’ sit between a deck and a roof. These units articulate two breeze-ways, ‘trots’, that separate functions and bring exterior features to the interior. K&Co è un ristorante di cibo sano, che segue i principi dell'Ecocook, il primo a Madrid con questo certificato internazionale.   Plantea Estudio è partito da uno spazio semplice in un quartiere periferico di Madrid, cercando di ottenere un ambiente fresco e luminoso, senza elementi superflui o atrezzo. L'architettura cerca di corrispondere direttamente al carattere del ristorante. In Between Gardens is a commercial space renovation designed following a bioclimatic architecture approach.  The main objective was to optimize the capture of solar radiation in order to reduce the energy consumption. Built with a reduced budget, the design tries to get a comfortable user experience from a visual, acoustic and olfactory point of view. Sun and nature are the design pillars. Sun defines the access hall depth, as well as the floor pattern and its materials. The store’s showcase position is defined by the facade’s hole shadow projected on solar noon winter solstice day. Il processo di creazione di un Osservatorio del Paesaggio è passato attraverso un progetto di architettura per creare uno spazio in grado di ricevere il programma previsto. Il luogo eletto allo scopo era un magazzino rurale situato in una casa colonica di Gaviãozinho, nel comune di Chamusca, Ribatejo, Portogallo centrale. Questo magazzino è affiancato a sud da altri edifici agricoli, a ovest, delimitato da una strada e da un campo di grano, e a nord, aperto al paesaggio di querce da sughero.   Con 3 elevazioni disponibili, abbiamo lavorato sul rapporto dell'edificio con l'ambiente naturale circostante per far combaciare quell'ambiente con lo spazio interno. ICOMA is the acronim for Ilustre Colegio de Medicos de Alava, the medical professional association in the region of Alava in Spain, and this projects presents their new headquartes.   The new offices for ICOMA are implemented on an existing space in a residential building, connecting the street level space with the one on the second floor. Hoehyeon Community is a local facility renovated from the wooden house built in 1935 during the Japanese colonial period, which is a part of Urban Renewal Projects by Seoul Metropolitan Government. This type of old Japanese house so-called enemy’s house is assigned as architectural asset in Korea. These buildings have architectural and historic values, but also provoke controversy.
